One strip folds an upper and a lower structure — two zippers, one pull.
A graded catalogue, or a box pinched into two platforms — every band a real unit, packed or spread.
Twenty bands ring a tube — level, undulating, drifting, or pinched apart once around.
The mast stays round; how far each band reaches makes the plan a square — flat, undulating, or pinched.
Sixteen of those cylinders hung in a room, with a 1.70 m figure for scale.
Two, three, four or nine of those rings — apart, touching, stepped, interleaved at two heights, together or wave by wave.
One person crosses a room of 64 small units. The floor remembers; the units that read enough of it form — and stay formed.
Place people, drag them, or let them wander — the units form live, and two people together form twice as fast.
